yes, exactly true!
Seems like every new tool that comes out or web site built in India, I see the same old horrible usability issues, graphiv problems, markup blunders, and poor architectural design issues we solved back in 2000.

Its true...we really are seeing a huge loss in IT quality in both the programmers work here and abroad, and all the carefully contructed "best-practices" many shops were streamlining and fine-tuning have been tossed completely by the way-side for cost-efficiency. Its the huge ATTRITION in IT both in the US and India, where the guys that originally built something leave and cheaper labor comes it and patches things, thats causing this problem. Allot of the younger kids who were not here during the late nineties are starting from scratch with HTML 3.2 and poor c++ and now .NET software design practices that are making a huge mess of what was built earlier.

I wish these "business-people-turned-developers" would stop thinking, because they can use complex pre-built and enabling CRM and business software tools, they can call themselves "technologists". It aint the same, guys!
