Don't feel placated by this feel good article

American universities are good, but not the best in the world
anymore. They are often a second choice for B grade students
from Japan, India et al who are not accepted to universities in
their own countries. Coupled with American k-12 schools
turning out brain dead, greedy little video game playing kids
and you've got a country going down the toilet rapidly.
Already, name most technologies and the US is like in 3rd or
4th place, not the trendsetter it used to be. I.E. Wind power,
the Danes & Germans & even Spanish far outpace the US, for the
wind farms being constructed in the US expertise & engineering
talent must be outsourced to other countries as the US doesn't
have the resources to build their own wind farms. Sad indeed.
