good points but

php is written by a company zend.
I see virtually no .net penetration, but massive amounts of PHP
websites.
The PHP based websites I use regularily seem to be fast,
efficient, and very reliable.
MySQL is also written by a company.
My experience is different to yours obviously.

Not everyone would agree with that assessment of Microsoft
based solutions.

that model....so have millions of businesses world-wide."
Wow - you must be ten thousand years old if you've personally
known a million businesses worldwide.

Frankly I've decided to ignore what you're saying on the basis of
this sentence.
