er no. If you're datacenter is reliably running
on Oracle, and the cost is acceptable, why would
you move to a Sun open source db?
You wouldn't.
Save money? In this case why not just use MySQL
since it is tried and tested and free, not a
totally new bit of software.

Where is Sun's financial incentive to do this?
hard to follow how they think a lot of the time,
it seems to be blind and reactionary.
