Is it?
If it's "all about choice," why doesn't Microsoft make a version of
SQL Server for Unix? Or is it just all about choice EXCEPT where
Microsoft is concerned?

For that matter, why don't they make Access for Unix? Why did
they take a database that originated on the Mac (FoxBase) and
turn it into a Windows-only product?
