Just playing with you Bit
You have to admit though, that you yourself play games with things and frame your posts to put forth certain viewpoints and avoid others. I too would like to engage in meaningful dialogue so long as we lay all cards on to the table. If I'm going to speak frankly, I want everything to be transparent.
Like I said before, I respect you and you have good things to say typically, however, I refuse to accept the notion that Microsoft will rule the world of computing and that we're all supposed to accept this as some godly fact. My only real gripe against Microsoft is that their initiative stands in direct contrast with consumer choice and a healthy future for this industry. If Microsoft enbraced open standards and lived up to them, I'd support them as I do any other company. But a lot of what you say seems to be accepting of unethical illegal behavior, and this reminds me of and is analogous to those blind Bush supporters who support him through thick and thin, even if his initiatives fall in line with a predatory police state existence. I have no problem supporting Microsoft if they play by the book and do things that seem efficient and make sense.
