UNIX has run on 64 bits for 10 years
... 10 years in which to build solid, 64 bit applications, 64 bit hardware drivers ... Windows, new to the party, are definitely scrambling to play catch up. Those in "the industry" who have needed 64 bit processing have been doing it on UNIX and Linux for almost a decade ... why throw it all away for virus infested WIndows 64 bit?
