I dont think so...
I think they just woke up late. don't get me wrong, i wouldn't call MS cutting edge however I can see some things in longhorn that can take advantage of more than 4gb of memory (XP not so much).

If i were an MS shareholder i would pray longhorn is increadible. should be fun.
