Who received MS Office training?
Or training on Windows? Sure, some people may have had a class outside of work, but for 99% of the people I work with (non tech folks for the most part) they learned how to use Windows and the office suite by trying and learning. Hasn't that been a selling point, after all? Linux and Open Office look, feel, and interact much like Windows and MS Office do, so there isn't much of a transition.

I switched our home system over to Suse 9.1 Linux in November, and all I had to do for my wife is show her where to click for email, word processor, web, etc. It took all of 3 minutes, and she hasn't looked back. In fact, she uses the PC much more now than before I switched over (it runs much faster now, as the machine only has a P4 2.4 with 512 MB, and windows XP was bogged down with AV, Firewall, anti spyware, etc).
