Not quite..
Although your comment is true for the initial release of XP, that is, the original with the crappy firewall off by default, your comment is not true for a default installation of XP SP2.

The actually results of the test were
1. BSD Linux (Mac included)
2. XP SP2 with 3rd party firewall
3. XP SP2 (new SP2 firewall on by default)

All three machines were turned on and left.

XP original release came last and was indeed compromised within 60 seconds on a 512kb connection. The top three (above) were not compromised in the 11 weeks of the test.

On personal note, I have a mate who is a Microsoft nut who has been using it since beta as his development PC, and that hasn't been compromised either.
