Windows ME was very stable on my desktop pc, much more so than Win98 SE was. Indeed I think it was the most stable which MS could get their 9* range.

With the new features which are going to be included, plus the new file system, to make comparisons to ME is simply Linux shrills blowing hot air because it's MS *shrugs*
