Your are not alone
No you're not alone! In the first week I turned it off as I was installing a lot of stuff on my PC, but now, after having read an article on configuring properly the UAC (one of them is http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/winvista_ff_uac.asp), I re-enabled it and I now advise everyone to do so. And when we will have Vista in the office, I will surely force everybody to have it activated, specially Domain Admins!
