In the context of Microsoft it is indeed a hard concept for me to ... not understand as such but ... see or believe.

You could apply your learnings of "constant improvement" to your very own car - here's how : Drive it at speed into a wall or tree, then take a hammer and with a few well placed hits you'll "improve" your car no end.

As somebody who feels they have the first clue about computers, why is it that you only know one vendors point and click OS, and are press release educated? What makes you scared of Linux - a fear of the unknown, or just lack of ability? Either way you'll need to get over it, otherwise you'll have no future in the IT industry. Companies are waking up and realizing that having numerous cheap but poorly educated staff locking them in to expensive software that doesn't work is a false economy.

Nobody here is believing a word of the spin that you are plastering all arounde. The good news is that with disciples (paid shills?) such as yourself, Microsoft is further losing credibility.

People like you - young male, on the first step of the IT knowledge ladder but with the same self belief as the teenager who knows everything - are a constant source of both amusement and/or annoyance.

Do thick people know that they are thick? Not in your case.
