national secrets
Code leaks can occur anywhere, including here so I believe their claim that it might betray national secrets is ridiculous because they don't do development in a heavily guarded clean-room in the Pentagon.

And even there you can have leaks, but at least the statement is more credible.

What a smoke-screen. They must think we're all stupid. We're not fighting for janitorial jobs.

If you run across any articles or other resources on the web that shed light on them believing the whole national security thing, please pass it along.

I wonder what national secrets they could be talking about? Is that the reason China has traditionally been so apprehensive with Windows? And if so, why would Microsoft be so stupid as to confirm it by saying such a thing?
