Get a clue
EVERYONE offshores. This is not just a greedy corporate thing. How many of you self-righteous posters have done your own personal form of offshoring? Do all of you own only American made cars? How about TVs, VCRs, etc? How does the purchase of foreign-made products differ from offshoring?

Yes, I know there are no viable US made options for TVs, VCRs and other such electronic goods. But at one time these products WERE made in the US. But the Japanese stole the market. Why? Because they made and sold a more reasonably priced product which the American public purchased, leaving the American made goods to rot on the shelf.

So what are American companies to do? If they continue to make their products in the US, they can't sell them because they are too expensive. If they offshore the technology, they are greedy corporate (add your own expletive here).

So get a clue. Just as you go looking for the best bargain when shopping for goods, companies look for the best bargain when shopping for labor. This is the only way they can survive in an open market.
