What's it matter, the results are expected
New operating systems have always performed slower than the preceding operation system. It's always been that way why would Vista be any different? We don't need benchmarking to prove what is historically true.

Now if Benchmarking said Vista performed better, now that would be a story. That's where you'd need something scientific as this would not be the expected norm.
