XP outshines Vista...what a surprise...
NOT!

In the last 3 decades, new larger OSes have meant slower, more resource hungry OSes. I know of only one exception to that trend and that is for a remote access machine, an apple and orange comparison.

I'd be interested to know how XP with SP2 performed against Vista and Vista with the beta SP1.
