How about the fact that 99% of that "tenfold" isn't free. Talk about driving up cost, you going to give every recipient of one of these laptops a budget so they can buy Photoshop, when the GIMP is better and FREE? (not to mention more cross-platform compatible than Adobe)

Or do we start 'em all out right: make 'em all pirates from day one?

And what about viruses and other mayhem? Great, let's give 'em a ton of laptops that'll get crapped up and need reinstalls in a couple of months.

Or does that budget cover a subscription to Norton?

Come to think of it, this will create jobs, won't it? Maybe the future of IT is in the African outback!

I'd put money on that this project eventually goes south, and I don't mean south of the equator.
