RE: Negroponte: Windows key to OLPC philosophy
Having Windows on the XO is just what it needs if this project is going to succeed. Now millions of kids all over the world will be able to run compatible applications and share documents with one another. The variety of applications alone for them has just increased ten fold. They wouldn't have been able to do this with just open source alone. The real beauty of all this is that the open source fanboys are really ticked off about having Windows on the platform instead of their OS. Isn't having a choice great?
