RE: Microsoft: Vista service pack coming in '08
Personally I have had it with VISTA I am in the process of formatting my 500GB HD Intel Processor E6600 Dual Core and then installing XP. When I purchased my Dell XPS 210 in April Dll was not offering XP just VISTA it was forced on everyone until they realized their sales were dropping to those who were giving the choice. Vista is just to unstable and freeze ups are a common problem for me. I figured when i got a New System with a better then average processor and 4 GB of DDR2 Memory I would be set not the case with VISTA. MS had no good reason other then their bottom line to Launce an OS that has so many flaws and unecessary mouse clicks just to web browse yet alone install additional programs. VISTA is also not compatable with many of the Software Programs I paid a premium for and it is not compatable with Symantics Partition Magic 8 nor Ciscos Skype Phone CIT200 I could go on and on even when I updated the drivers for my XP Hardware and Software programs VISTA would not load the drivers without first asking with a pop up window or Windows would simply not boot up. Thank God for XP Professional and Service Pack 2
