Thank God Microsoft doesn't make refrigerators.
I need to buy two appliances this month, a laptop and a refrigerator.
Regarding the refrigerator I have lots of options. Many companies are competing to make a better product. I will definitely get some improvements over my old energy hog refer.
Regarding a new laptop, I'm not going to fair as well. I can't even find one of last year?s successful models on the shelves with Windows XP.
I am limited to one choice. If Vista was a refrigerator, I would be forced to buy a slower cooling one, and one that wasn't compatible with many types of produce.
For instance, it might not even accept a gallon of milk. They can't tell me for sure. I just have to buy it, and then see if my old milk cartons will fit. If they don't fit then I'll have to wait for a shelving fix in 2008.
However, they were able to share with me that I'd need to buy new frozen "Office" meat, because my old frozen 2000 meat will not fit inside this Microsoft model of refrigerator. I have to buy the newer Microsoft meat in order for it to cool properly.
My only other option is to not buy meat at all, and instead go fruitatarian with an Apple.
