Lossless rotate is possible with JPEG
The JPEGTRAN utility, part of version 6b of the Independent JPEG Group's JPEG
software released in 1998, can do various transformations including rotation by
multiples of 90 degrees. Please verify claims by vendors such as Microsoft before
publishing them as fact.
