You smokin' crack??

Vista gives you unlimited DRM, but that's about it! You get to transfer hardware ONCE. ONLY ONCE. Then you shell out another 570 bucks to buy it all over again. But hey, if you're going through $800 video cards like they're Kleenex, why not Vista licenses while you're at it, right?

Glad they're finally actually releasing something. Can't wait to see the public backlash over the changes they've made that will make "Joe Average" users completely and utterly lost because things aren't EXACTLY like they've been trained to do with 98/XP. And wonder what happens when their techy family member tells them they can't help because they're already running linux and don't know anything about Vista.

Feature-stripped, two years late, still full of bugs, more popups than a porn site, and just enough UI changes to confuse gramma. Welcome to Vista. I ran the RCs for awhile ... long enough to learn to hate it. I'll take XP over that bloated piece of crap ... even if the UI is finally all shiny and pretty like my KDE desktop has been for years now. Can't wait to see the showdown with the new linux releases and the upcoming OSX release. Should be a helluva show.
