I am thrilled for Microsoft
I am thrilled for Microsoft, I never thought that I would ever actually enjoy running through the functions of an operating system, but I've learned to love it over the past years. Now, as soon as I am able to I hope to become a RETAIL Vista customer, and get my grubby hands on it--a new toy!!

Thank you Microsoft for allowing unlimited OS transfers on RETAIL versions of Vista, which is so great for hardware enthusiasts. The previous EULA really had some of us geeks worried (OEM versions still have the old EULA).

Now, if we could just get the EULA changed for FSX, as presently to the best of my knowledge FSX will only allow two hardware upgrades, or "transfers", then shuts down permanently, unless you spend another $70 to get it going again. That does not seem fair, and even logical considering that advanced Flight Simulator enthusiasts are possibly some of the VERY MOST intense HARDWARE ENTHUSIASTS! Additionally, I don't know what other games are like, however it is very possible and common for several hundred dollars to be spent on FS addon programs, and I've heard of video cards that can cost as much as 1,000 each when they first come out, in addition to as much as $5,000 or more spent on game computers built solely for the purpose of running Flight Simulator X. This is a sizeable investment which many enthusiasts do make, however it doesn't stop there, game computers are constantly being upgraded. We need a workable EULA for Flight Simulator/HARDWARE ENTHUSIASTS, and one that will not shut down FSX (or XP) after these products are no longer supported by MS. We would like the ability to fly FSX (and XP) indefinitely into the future even after MS drops support for these products some years from now.
