THIS XP box that I'm writing on freqently goes for WEEKS without a reboot. My other XP box, likewise rarely requires a reboot.

Gee... Could it be the APPS you've been testing on XP are so poorly written that they're the ones with the memory leaks...? Ya think?

As far as IE7 goes - I think most people who use it find it to be a GOOD tool to have. It's a major improvement over IE 6 and other previous versions. Saying the increased security isn't beneficial is like saying adding seat belts to cars was a bad idea.
