Ok - so we know there is a delay. Who is impacted? Microsoft - yes pays a reasonable bill. Windows enthusiasts - sure they are. Joe average user - s/he usually waits until the first shockwave of desaster messages are over. Ux-fans - hardly. Business users - several people on this thread and on other places said already they will not upgrade during the holiday season anyway. Leaves all sorts of hardware manufacturers and maybe a couple of software companies.
I have a hard time to believe everyone posting here is suddenly working in the hardware business. The posts on this board do not indicate there would be many Windows enthusiasts around.
