I believe I said it runs on a machine ...
... with 256MB of RAM. No where did I make a claim on how it ran. Check the posts. You are a liar when you claim it requires 1.0GB to perform as well as XP with 256MB. What you fail to comprehend is that Vista turns of uneeded features when the hardware is not capable of using them. In any case, I stand by my claim that it will run on a machine with as little as 256MB. Microsoft is requiring 512MB to logo as Vista capable. That number was chosen because Microsoft judges that to be what is required for acceptable performance. Now I suppose you are going to claim you know more about the requirements then Microsoft.
