Apple's famous for that
Not saying Windows or Linux doesn't, but many companies quit writing software for Macs as sales (based on market share of Macs) couldn't cover developement costs of having to do major re-writes every time Apple released a new OS, unlike Windows asd Linux, where in many cases, it was just a small upgrade patch.
