you missed my point....
I never stated it would be good, never said it would be bad. Just said its silly to jump to conclusions based on well vapor and press releases.

As far as wasting resources goes, id say they seem to be doing pretty well still regardless of R&D budjet, but that wasn't the point of my comment.

My point was that for super computer Microsoft can just market its way into dominence (as so many have claimed they did with the desktop). This product has to perform very very well, if i know this, little ol me, then i would have to err on the side of ms knows it too. Its highly unlikely that they will release a brick.

but we might as well have a tug of war to see who's right since we wont know for sure for another year and a half.
