Is Gates the right person
to be introducing this?

Yeah, I know he's earned the right if he chooses to do so. But when I think Gates I think about how MS has advanced the x86 PC platform (we can argue up and down about how they did it, but you can't argue the fact that they did it) and his image of a basement nerd who wants advanced PC software like voice recognition and cool 3D effects. I do not think big iron or clusters when I think Bill Gates. I just wonder if he projects the right image to jump start this endeavor.
