The other major issue is that Ms has got such a wide array of applications that are developed on it and no one realises there is another choice.

I also know that once you have spent your money on maintaining and running a windows network to get out of it is very difficult, that is something Ms has built into their API's to lock companies in. This has been admitted by Ms exec's.

IT Scion is right in that the majority of people dont have to go far to get windows based products and that is where the big fight is. Until people realise and can see that they can work without windows then only can they look at what else is available.
