Update to Linux kernel debuts after 'false alarms'
OMG! They were a month late! This is definitely a sign that the end is near for linsux. After 14 revisions of the same kernel you'd think they would get it right, but oh no. Linsux is nothing but a giant false alarm anyway with all the hype with no output surrounding it. This story is total non-news.

Now for good and interesting news. NetBSD released 2.0.3 was released. OpenBSD 3.8 was released. And FreeBSD gets a new logo. All real Unixes that just work as an operating system like they should. Not some hacked up clone of Unix or an OS being pushed like drugs with all the parts not interoperating. Hey ZDNet, how come you didn't report on any the BSDs? Its been a good week for them.
