Whether thru the next email spamming flood or the next virus attack that hobbles the Internet, those who have chosen not to use Windows are still affected.

Plus "idiot" web sites that cater only to IE on Windows, whether private companies or worse, government (eg, recent FEMA and Patent Office stories).

And it would appear many who do use Windows also complain, it's only diehard MS supporters who claim Windows doesn't have any problems.

Plus we always need to worry about Gates' proclaimed "Windows everywhere" goal, at which point we will have no option or choice. Surprise! We all do not choose to be assimilated.

It becomes a matter or prevention... better to try and kill a cancerous growth as early as possible than let it spread and become fatal.

No, that seems to be the motive (character flaw?) of the Windows masses who get cheap thrills out of dissing a supposedly insignificant platform like the Mac (and Apple). Amazing how such a "crap" company and OS can garner so much positive attention (press, tech pros, etc) and negative jealousy (the MS/Windows crowd) at the same time.

No, our problems are very real. Unfortunately, we have to suffer due to questionable choices made by others (eg, the Internet is supposed to be/meant to be "platform neutral", not a Windows-only world).
