I think that they are also becomming aware of the fact that computers are becomming a component in a home's "consumer electronics" setup. A lot of people who have no real need for a computer are buying them so thay can explore the internet, bounce (balence) their checkbooks, do homework, and play games. IMHO, a lot of the eye candy is reall aimed at the less sofisticated users (and to drive hardware sales). What will be in SP3 is purly conjecture at this point, but I wonder if it is a tightning of the strangle hold MS is putting on us. Example: the current need to register xp within 30 days of instalation so that the hardware in the pc can be logged so that it can't be put on another computer without buying a new license.
