NT was not brand new

and that NT was brand new and built from the ground up."

As I posted yesterday, NT was a developed by a team of 20-odd
ex DEC employees lead by Dave Cutler. Indeed the MS
"produced" version was so similar to VMS that MS settled out of
court an action against them for IP theft.

In addition, the UNIX of today is wildly different from version
one. Only the UNIX philosophy remains the same (and opposite
to MS).
