Oh, there will NEVER be a trial, Spooner.
Are you kidding? With Dubya able to load the courts, even the Supremes, the very idea that one of the dirtbags in the Big White House will be taken to task for his/her transgressions is a pipe dream ... no, a BONG dream!

For instance, there were some Republicon spin docs out there who were saying "since Karl Rover didn't actually SAY the name of Joe Wilson's CIA Operative wife, how can we be sure WHO he was talking about?" To which the response has been "Whaaaat? Is there more that ONE Joe Wilson who checked out the Sadman Insane/Nigeria Nuke connection? Or does he have MORE than one CIA Operative wife?" The very fact they TRIED that gambit means the fix is in.

The ONLY way we are going to get ANY Republicon to own up to his/her sleazy actions is by exposing them to the Court of Public Opinion. Then, MAYBE we'll be able get enough American voters to see the light.

For people to say "Hey, he hasn't been tried or convicted," or for Dubya or Snot McClellan to say "I can't comment on an ongoing investigation," is kind of like the private school yard bully hiding behind the skirts of his benefactor mom. Why couldn't they have the guts to say "Hey, I said before that someone who leaks security info from this office will be OUT of this office, let's see how it goes."
