Don't get your HOPES up there people....
I've been in this buisness from the start and I've seen MS and
Apple dance over the years. What I've seen far more often than
not and it still happens at least in part today is that MS will make
a product say like Outlook for both Windows and the Mac. Now
the Windows version is full featured and has all the neet things a
business would ever want. The Mac version is well Outlook
LITE!! Why? Well because Outlook is a major tool in the
enterprise and while MS does not mind all that much that there
are SOME Macs in say the Graphics department MS does not
want to make using the Mac easy for every department so by
crippling the Mac version of certain key applications MS does her
part to keep the Mac's use in the enterprise limited. Now in
some cases this has not been the case but over the years and in
several cases this is still the way today.
