Red is for danger
How wonderfully Microsoft. The party faithfull are all over the web like a rash, singing the praises of what the latest vapourware will do, and one of the few things it actually does is crash, in full technicolour!

Perhaps I can suggest some text to go with the red screen of death. How about -

"Hello WIndows user. Your machine has crashed with a fatal error. DO NOT WORRY. We already have your money so everything is just ticketty-boo.

Does your business rely onthis machine? Oh dear, perhaps your data has been corrupted. DO NOT WORRY. The EULA you agreed to means we are completely beyond any accountability, so everything is tickety boo.

Was your entire music collection on this machine? DO NOT WORRY. The EULA you agreed to means we do not even have to supply working code, and as we already have your money, everything is just tickety boo.

Are you losing production and business for the duration of this downtime? DO NOT WORRY> We have your money and the ERULA absolves us of any responsibility whatsoever for lost or damaged data, thank you for "I Accepting" the mandatory EULA.

Have you got money in your bank account? If so, DO NOT WORRY. We will be charging you for updates and "enhancements" very soon. Why not take a few minutes to find a LINUX or Apple MAC machine, you'll be able to log on to a few news sites with no trouble at all, and read the thousands of re-assuring words our army of Astroturfers pump out every day. Of COURSE there's something more secure, more stable, just around the corner. Just make sure you have the funds available to pay for them and DO NOT WORRY.
