And it totally justifies Microsoft's strategy. When you're 35, you cut your own grass and shovel your own snow. When you're 60, you let someone else do the work (and take the inherent risks), because you can afford to pay them. I can't see the point in bashing Microsoft for not creating the new technologies in-house.
