Seems I remember a story about a man who was working
on a project many, many years ago in India..and India that is
probably in many ways long gone. Now this man saw a great
many workers in India carry with their hands loads back and
forth and he thought I can make their job easier and faster. So
he fashioned a crude wheel barrel and showed the local workers
how much more they could do using it. The worked clapped and
smiled at the demonstration, but the VERY next day the man saw
not a single worker using the wheel barrel and he stopped a
worker and asked why? The worked told him the wheel barrel
was a wonder but if they started to use it...many of them would
soon be unemployed.

I too wonder what happened to those data entry workers. Look
at all the jobs of yester year. The hunter/gatherer (long
gone..what with private property and such. Farming/
ranching...(Now pretty much huge industrial complexes for the
very most part) Manufacturing (gone for the most part over seas)
and now Technology both hardware/software and biological
(well again going else where) So what do we have left to go too I
wonder? Once we have stopped making, creating and inventing
things...what do we have left?
