Makes me ashamed to be British
It is small wonder that Britain no longer has any world class software companies when the government does things like this.

Might it not be better to posthumously honour British people who have made genuine and innovative contributions to computer science? Alan Turing and Ted Codd spring most obviously to mind.

Glad I left Britain!
