Harris Miller Declares War Against American Workers
Early in 2004 Harris Miller of the ITAA vowed that in 2005 he would fight to raise the yearly cap on H-1B visas. His remarks in this article are a declaration of war against American workers.

So what can you do to fight back?

The first thing you can do is to support Pascrell's bill, and "support" doesn't just mean cheering from the grandstands. You need to call or email his office to voice your ideas on what needs to be changed. Even more importantly, once Pascrell submits his bill to Congress, you need to contact your Congresspeople and DEMAND THAT THEY CO-SPONSOR Pascrell's bill in the House and Senate.

Harris Miller made it very clear that he is going to fight Pascrell's bill. He may do that by lobbying to water it down, or he will discourage support to co-sponsor it in Congress.

We also need to convince DeLauro to resubmit her bill to reform L-1 visas.

The other thing you can do is to keep informed. One way to do that is to get on the free mailing list for the "Job Destruction Newsletter". Go to www.ZaZona.com to find out how.

Read the archives to find out how this battle has evolved since the Omnibus Spending bill of 2004. Recent newsletters have a lot of detailed analysis of Pascrell's bill of 2004 - HR 5413.

Harris Miller will win this battle if American workers don't fight back. Shills like Harris Miller are counting on us to be apathetic. We must start fighting back because our economic security is up for grabs, and right now the bad guys have won every major battle.
