"Oracle is expected to notify many PeopleSoft workers of their terminations over the weekend, via Express Mail to their homes--a practice human resources experts frown on."

I had to shake my head at this one. I'm sure many more people than human resources are "frowning" on this practice. What a WIMPY way to notify those poor employees who are trying to earn a decent living. And "Oracle" (probably meaning executives in this case) are probably sending the e-mails from a nice laptop sitting comfortably in a nice chair overlooking their waterfront property in their $10 million+ mansion. Well, I guess as the old cliche goes -- What goes around...
