Some facts, some speculation
Your middle point is certainly a fact, but your other two points are speculation. Certainly all can agree that global temperatures are rising, but I disagree that there is a 'vast consensus' among scientists about the causes of global warming. And the ability of mankind to 'limit climate changes to reasonable levels' presupposes that mankind itself is the sole cause of those climate changes. The geologic record is replete with drastic climactic changes over the millenia, with no human in sight to have 'caused' it. What make one think that such climate changes won't still occur, with or without us?
