That is exactly the issue at the core

We have priced ourselves out of most markets. We are not doing anything to raise theirs (cost of living) to our levels and thus 'level the playing field'.

We cannot compete in a race to the bottom of the economic ladder, who would buy all of those $300,000.00 homes in Urbandle. In cities much larger than here they would be priced in the millions maybe.

What are building for anyways? What kind of greed do we have as an illness? We all know at least some of the symptoms and have a cognitive understanding of them. Why is it people like to make fun of Dean when the message he was trying to get acrosss is that if we raise the rest of the world to our level the playing field will begin to level out? He was laughed out of the national scene by us at our long-term expense. The inability to see the broader picture and the long-term goals of where our country's economy is going and where it will eventually lead us is definitely the cause.

Allowable ignorance allows the insignifigant majority to not see the truth when they read it and only lie to themselves when told otherwise.
