Let get this straight once and for all.
Business', corporations, or whatever you want to call them, DO NOT PAY TAXES!!!!!!! Any tax levied against a business is just pushed on to the consumer, no business pays taxes, they might collect them, but they do not pay taxes. No company can pay a "tax" and not pass it on the the consumer, if they did they would be out of business. Do you think when an airline gets it's gas tax raised or langing tax raised, that they just eat it, no, they pass it on to you the consumer, so next time you buy a ticket, the price has gone up to cover the "tax" on the business. You as the consumer will always, always pay the tax, all enron did was up the price of electricity to the consumer. So when Kerry or "W" tell you they will have business' pay there share, there is no such thing, they mean the consumer, you, will pay. So next time you go to pay for something or buy something that the company has been "taxed" on, you will pay more. Tire tax, does the tire store pay that, hell no, you do, it's right on the bill, most won't show up on the bill, it's just added in to the cost of the product. And jwpooper, I just gotta say, you have done it to your self, along with most others. 140,000 a year, damn that's great money, but why the hell should the company pay you that and your time off and your health care and your retirement, when they can ship it off to another country for next to nothing. Union's have done the same thing, how is it that we can import steel, or whatever, much cheaper than we can make it here? Why have all the steel mills closed down in Pittsburgh? Why is everything made in China?? Because we have doen it to ourselves, there is always someone faster, cheaper, cleaner and it's all about making money and getting it done cheaper. So if I was in charge, you bet your ass I would send your job overseas before you could program your way out of a paper bag. A 140,000, that's disgusting, but I bet you wouldn't work for 80 would you, or no retirement? I bet you wouldn't take a pay cut, or work more hours would you? So now all you have is time to ***** and complain, hell I would be happy with 40,000. So yes we have done it to ourselves, and since when does the president tell a private company how to run the business, they can do whatever the hell they want with their jobs. We are being taxed so heavily that we have to buy everything we can cheaper, so that means overseas, because we Americans want too much money for work that gets done cheaper other places, and then you have to throw in health care and retirement etc etc. it's just how it works. So remember students, corporations do not pay taxes, no business does, it's always the consumer, always. Kerry, what's he gonna do for us, take more of our money??? You tell me how Kerry is going to get anyone's jobs back, he will make it worse, much worse. SO once again, Rock on!!!! and P.O.
