That's a good one! The taxes for Enron were no higher than for any other corporation. Moreover, tax rates are set by Congress, not by the President, so you couldn't pass this off on Clinton and the Democrats even if the taxes were too high (the Republicans controlled Congress for a good six years leading up to the Enron debacle).

Enron collapsed because of mis-management combined with criminal attempts to hide the effects of the mismanagement. Period.
