You can't be serious...

First off, its easy to judge folks in a difficult position or at the heels of making a massive decision when the weight nor responsibility isn't yours. Its a peeve of mine when people act cool or tough or have this "know-it-all" sort of attitude judging others in their actions at critical times AND yet they them selves never faced the same challenge.

I think the word in the English language is "hypocrit".

Its kind of hearing someone talking about "man if someone put a gun in my face I'd knocked the s**t out of them and they'd better kill me because I'd chase them down..." Yeah ok...not saying there aren't *some* insanely crazy, unstable or brave individuals in the world who WOULD act that way...just saying the *OVERWHELMINGLY* majority of folks wouldn't -- they'd be scared to death, and rightly so.

Rather's story was crap...he should be fired. The documents were completely falsified.

Yes "Dubya" dodged the draft, but he did serve the country. Is he a coward -- I wouldn't say so...to be honest, I'd put my life on the line in a split second for a loved one, but if I was told I needed to go overseas to fight in a war -- I'd be damned scared.

As for his drinking and drug use habits...hey, I don't think its right, in fact I think he's a jackarse for doing so..but that was the past -- that was his personal past..has no bearing on his role as president.

We all are so quick to judge such things....yeah right like any of us posting here today are perfect saints? I know I'm not.

Its how you correct your mistakes, how you address your "bad" habits...that is what defines your character.
