The studies say what they were paid to say.
Sadly, both of these studies (and the plethora of ones which will invariably follow them) will say exactly what they are paid to say. Their scripts are written in advance, their questions phrased to produce the results they desire, and data suggesting otherwise will be discarded.

I have reviewed many such "studies" in my career. Generally, they are biased. Therefore, of little value in determining what the affect of job loss to the overseas market really is. Each study reflects whatever point of view it was commissioned to support. None yield the true picture, if indeed the true picture can even be viewed through such a prism.

Although it is only anecdotal evidence, the fact that I know a large number of highly educated and highly skilled IT professionals who have lost their jobs to inferior, but lower priced, overseas workers is the only reliable evidence which I have.

Taking hard-working tax-paying families and making them unemployed on welfare, or under-employed is not in the best interests of the USA.

Simply put, off-shoring is killing the US economy in general.

Regards,
Jon
