Artificial Intelligence is more like Artificial Hope. When you make a search on Google, it comes up with results because it has cached all the websites ahead of time. If you wanted to sift through videos, and waited 2-3 secs apiece - a google-type search of the internet could concievably take - FOREVER! If you wanted to search your Tivo for last Wednesday's episode of "Lost" (my current favorite!), then this techniquie might be useful (If Tivo lost its index). For people that have those twin 300Gb disk drives, and a healthy stream of Kazaa downloads - this could become invaluable! But isn't MacroHard comming out with a local search function in ShortHorn? OOOPS, it will be late - and a dollar short I would imagine!
